Confirm something you witnessed.
When they claim they led a migration or turned around a failing account, you can confirm you saw it. A first-hand confirmation turns an unverified claim into evidence they can stand behind in an interview.
For Trusted Supporters
You do not need to be a career expert to be useful. Offer perspective, encouragement, or practical feedback when someone you trust chooses to involve you.
Your role stays specific to what they ask you to help with.

Trusted Supporter accounts are free and need no invitation. There is no directory: your account shows nothing until someone you know invites you.
Why you were asked
You may have seen how they solve problems, respond under pressure, support others, or grow over time. That context can help make their career evidence more complete.
Your contribution should be specific, relevant, and based on what you have actually observed.
Small, bounded contributions — not an ongoing commitment or a second job.

A CV or cover letter that makes sense to its author often does not to anyone else. You do not need to rewrite it — pointing at the sentence you had to read twice is enough.
Ask the question they are dreading. Saying an answer out loud to a real person is a different skill from having it in your head, and it is the one interviews actually test.
Job searches are long and demoralising. A message at the right moment does more for momentum than most advice, and it costs you very little.
You may know someone in the field, or how a particular employer really operates. Passing that on is often the single most valuable thing in the whole process.
People close to a decision lose perspective on it. An outside view — offered kindly and without an agenda — is genuinely hard to get elsewhere.
The process is deliberately small. You are being asked for a specific contribution, not signing up to a platform.

You will never be asked to assess whether someone is employable, rank them against anyone else, or make a decision about their career.
Role boundaries
Clear boundaries keep Trusted Support focused, useful, and easy to understand.

Current availability
Trusted Support is part of the Orinavis support model and expands during beta. Supporter accounts are free, but there is no public supporter directory: you take part only when someone invites you.
You choose who to invite, what to show them, and what to ask for. Support does not arrive uninvited, and inviting someone to confirm one achievement does not open the rest of your workspace to them. If what you need is ongoing professional guidance rather than help from someone you know, a career coach is the better fit — and if you need one specific piece of expertise, a specialist is.

See how invitations, consent, and shared context work before you accept — and what you will and will not be able to see.
